Public open reception Sept 25 1:00PM to 4:00PM Entries can be picked up Sat October 5th .all day. All entries will be on public display during regular business hours, Tues & Sat 10AM to 4PM, Wed, Thurs and Fri 1PM to 4PM. All entries subject to judging. Decision of the judge is final. All entries must be original works and not previously exhibited at an Art Guild Show, no copies from other artists, published material or supervised work will be allowed. Questionable pieces will be removed from the show and not judged. Decision of jurying committee is final. All work must be ready for hanging with wire and screw eyes. No saw tooth hangers. Frame size limit 40” in any dimension. Entries exceeding this limit will not be judged. Sculptures may not exceed 36” in any dimension and must be less then 75 pounds. Pedestals not required but encouraged. Entry fee: Two for $20, $5 for each additional up to a limit of 5 pieces. Mail-in entries will be accepted. Return shipping label and prepaid postage required . All entries must be priced or marked NFS. Sales will be encouraged. The Art Guild will retain 30% of all sales as commission. Artistic Awards: Best of Show - $150; First Place 3 at $100 each; Second Place 2 at $50 each; Third Place - 2 Ribbons, Honorable Mention - 6 Ribbons; Peoples Choice Award - Ribbon McCook Art Guild is not responsible for any damages to any art piece. Artists must provide their own insurance.
